Business English trianing for teachers.

Mode:
On-line program divided into 2 consecutive modules lasting 2ohs. each over 4 weeks . Teachers will have the necessary flexibility to connect and interact on our ST Moodle Platform 24/7 while the course lasts.

General Objectives:
Train teachers in Business English issues so that they can further enhance their teaching skills, become competent interlocutors in such area to better help professional adults meet their professional language needs.

Specific Objectives:
After completing the program participants will:
• Know key terms, acronyms and buzzwords.
• Be able to use and explain specific vocabulary properly and confidently.
• Be up-to-date on the latest news and best practices in each business area.
• Learn about well-known business gurus.
• Understand topics professional adults usually deal with and be able to plan and teach to meet students´ needs.
• Become a valid and effective soundboard for corporate students.

Who is it for?
English Language teachers (with experience in either General English or Business English) who wish to develop their expertise in Business English Training.

Methodology:
• On-line Interaction:
New downloadable and printable material is introduced every week. Participants and trainers meet to discuss new topics using tools such as video conferences, forums, e-mail and chats.
• Activities:
Each unit includes reading, audio and video material and online exercises. Tasks are varied, dynamic and practical. Each unit has a final assessment task so as to evaluate progress.
• Participants’ follow-up:
Students’ performance in this virtual community is permanently tracked by the tutor to guarantee success. Moodle allows for individual and group tracking on the use of material included, participation in forums, e- mails, etc.

Assessment:
