Mode: On-line workshop. You can connect and interact in forums and by e-mail 24/7 while the course lasts. Participants will receive an Institutional Certificate by e-mail upon completion. Duration: 2 weeks Weekly Schedule: 8hs.
Course Objectives:
This workshop aims at providing participants with a variety of strategies to:
Improve general writing quality and effectiveness.
Organize and link ideas with appropriate connectors.
Convey a clear, brief and culturally appropriate message.
Spot mistakes for self-correction.
Make use of all necessary vocabulary and grammar.
Who is it for?
1. Assistants who need to communicate in English.
2. Professionals who need to communicate in English via e-mail.

Intermediate .
Methodology:
• On-line Interaction :
New downloadable and printable material is introduced every week. Participants and trainers meet to discuss the issues proposed using tools such as video conferences, forums, e-mail and chats.
• Activities:
There is a wide variety of activities such as: case studies and problem-solving activities which should be solved either individually or in small groups.
• Participants follow-up:
Students’ performance in this virtual community is permanently tracked by trainers to guarantee success. Moodle allows for individual and group tracking on the use of material included, participation in forums, e-mails, etc.
Content:
Introduction
Module 1: Basic writing guidelines. Style: informal, neutral and formal Netiquette Abbreviations Attachments Opening and Closing e-mails.
Module 2: Arranging meetings and schedules. Booking. Briefing. Invitations. Giving directions. Checking information.
Claims, Complaints and Apologies. Placing an Order. Requesting information/help. Being Polite and Indirect. Key Phrases in English. Final Assessment.
Credentials:
Participants will receive a certificate via e-mail upon completion.
